Introduction

Nordhavn yachts are the globally recognized leaders in expedition yachts and long-distance passage makers. With ruggedly constructed exteriors and luxurious interiors providing unparalleled comfort the Nordhavn 55/60 series is a testament to the companies’ proven hull design as the worlds finest and most capable displacement motoryachts.

ONE LIFE (hull 57) is in turnkey condition and ready for her new owner(s). She has been meticulously cared for by a full-time crew of two and owned by a yachtsman who understands the value of properly maintaining a vessel of her caliber.

ONE LIFE’s notable features include a warm and inviting cherry wood interior, expansive deck spaces (the swim platform, boat deck, and cockpit have all been extended), and a stunning navy hull gelcoat. The foredeck features an oversized sunpad with overhead removable sail shades offering versatility while underway or at anchor. Her Noverania EL430 tender is housed on the boat deck and is included in the purchase price.

Engineered for trouble-free operation, ONE LIFE boasts a dependable fuel system which is elegantly simple and extremely reliable.  Seakeeping characteristics such as a full-displacement hull offer efficiency and comfort.

ONE LIFE is powered by the proven John Deere 6090AFM75 325HP main engine.  She is designed with a dry exhaust system and recessed keel coolers providing a clean, quiet and foolproof exhaust system.

For back- up and peace of mind, she has a John Deere 4045DFM75 80HP “get home” wing engine with a v-drive transmission and independent fuel tank, starting battery, shaft and propeller.

Her ABT Stabilization system dramatically reduces roll, offering unparalleled ride comfort in any sea-state. In addition to the stabilization system ONE LIFE also offers a “flopper stopper” providing stabilization and comfort while at anchor.

INTERIOR WALKTHROUGH:

ONE LIFE’s interior space exhibits the exquisite craftsmanship that P.A.E. has become known for and is perfectly suited for living aboard and long-range cruising. Foot traffic patterns are smooth inside and out. She features a gloss cherry wood interior with granite counters and floors which are both elegant and practical. In addition to the spacious Master cabin, her custom forward layout offers a port cabin with bunk beds, a flexible cabin to starboard with a single berth which can convert to a desk and fourth cabin located upstairs behind the helm.

Entering the bright and airy salon via the versatile Dutch door one is greeted with an exceptional interior typical of a much larger yacht.  ONE LIFE takes advantage of her 18-foot beam and provides owner and guests with an expansive salon and adjacent chef’s galley with bar.

Her large salon features oversized windows, a comfortable L-Shaped settee with versatile high-low teak dining table to port perfect for meals or movie night. An additional built-in settee is located to starboard and can be utilized for additional storage.

Forward of the salon is the chef’s galley which offers guests an additional seating area comprised of two pivoting bar stools with back rests able to face either the salon or the granite galley counter bar. The chef’s galley is spacious and thoughtfully designed utilizing the popular ‘Kitchen Work Triangle’ trend more commonly found in homes. A port hole above the stove provides additional natural light.

The galley features a continuation of the cherry wood cabinetry and black granite as seen throughout the yacht.  A large double sink is located at the counter pass through and includes overhead custom glass racks. The refrigeration is Sub Zero and includes two freezer drawers. Additional full-size home-style appliances include a GE Profile propane 4 burner stove top with electric oven, GE trash compactor, GE dishwasher, microwave convection oven.

Near the galley entrance and moving forward you can access the master cabin or move up a set of stairs to the pilothouse. Likewise, from the forward end of the pilothouse, you come down a stairwell to a foyer between the additional guest cabins.

The master cabin is on the same level as the galley, and it is located amidships, where the motion is least objectionable during passages and while at anchor. It features three portlights (with black out capabilities) allowing for natural light, a king-sized island berth athwartships, reading lights, separate climate controls, flat screen TV with built in shelving and large hanging lockers. The private ensuite head offers ample cabinet and drawer storage, and features a spacious bath tub with shower.

Forward of the master are two additional guest cabins. Located to port is the ‘bunk bed’ configuration with ample drawer space beneath the bottom berth.

To starboard is a flexible cabin featuring a single berth which can convert to a desk with chair for a private office configuration. Accessible form this cabin are the below watermaker, water heater, and bow thruster.

Both cabins have private access to a shared head which features a shower and sink with ample counter space.

ONE LIFE’s pilothouse is located amidships for minimal motion at sea and provides excellent 360-degree visibility.  A full-sized Stidd helm chair puts the Captain comfortably in command of his/her ship, with all electronics within sight and reach. Aft of the helm chair is an L-shaped settee (with additional storage) and adjoining table. Behind the settee is the fourth double berth cabin with day head.

EXTERIOR WALKTHROUGH:

ONE LIFE’s spacious swim platform has removable stanchions for arrival by tender and houses the extendable passarelle. The teak cockpit may be accessed directly form the swim platform via a swinging hull door to starboard. Her generous cockpit features a teak dining table with six chairs for alfresco dining, removable sail shade, large gas BBQ and sink with cabinet storage. To starboard is the main entry hull door for when side-to at the dock. Stairs located to port lead to the upper boat deck.

The boat deck aft houses ONE LIFE’s  tender which can be raised and lowered by the adjacent Steelhead ES1500 davit with 1500 pound lifting capacity.  Located forward to starboard of the tender is the fuel storage tank with 45-gallon capacity.

Forward of the enclosed pilothouse the Portuguese deck features one of four docking stations located to starboard. Onward, the bow features an oversized custom sunpad with removable overhead sail shades.

The flybridge is located directly above the pilothouse. The fiberglass hardtop provides ample shade while cruising. There you will find a large u-shaped upholstered settee and fiberglass table with teak insert ideal for sunset cruises and casual meals.

Ahead of the fiberglass table are two comfortable helm chairs. The flybridge helm station mirrors the navigation equipment seen below in the enclosed pilothouse.
