The 61’ Briglia “Fish Tales” is a true one-of-a-kind representation of North Carolina custom craftsmanship. The “Fish Tales" hull was constructed utilizing concepts based on a modified Delta-Conic design. The result is an easy planing, efficient and ocean taming Custom Carolina style ride. The “Fish Tales" was a build partnership with Briglia Boatworks and the Bluewater Boatworks. The hull, house and bridge were built by Briglia Boatworks in Wanchese, NC. Bluewater Yacht Yard also in Wanchese, NC was contracted to complete the interior and hook up. Bluewater is known for craftsmanship and in this particular vessel you will see why. The “Fish Tales” was built to provide maximum comfort along with economical operation and long range travel capabilities. From the moment you step onboard, you will notice the extra attention paid to the construction of this yacht. The large and fishable cockpit is sure to please the most avid fisherman. Extra wide teak covering boards with beautiful rounded bolsters and a dry (no hatch) teak deck. The water tight engine room door combined with underwater exhaust effectively mitigates cockpit engine noise. A new in 2019 mezzanine with oversized freezer and new mezzanine teak deck with 2 refrigerated mezzanine deck boxes that can utilized as drink or bait boxes. A huge stainless lined fish box in transom is an added bonus. A full size Release Marine fighting chair with rocket launcher is the cockpit center piece. The “Fish Tails” also has a stand alone Release Marine rocket launcher, ample tackle storage drawers and a Eskimo ice chipper dump in cockpit.
You enter the salon is through an offset starboard side automatic sliding door. Upon entry, you will notice a very sizable and comfortable salon with a comfortable L - shaped sofa to port with custom made teak trimmed salon table. The galley is large with light colored marbled counter tops and the preferred satin finish cabinetry. A very comfortable dinette is to starboard of the galley.
The companionway is located center beam.
Engine room access is via the mezzanine to the port of the main salon entrance door.
