Edgewater builds its boats using a proprietary "Permagrid" stringer system — an interlocking grid of longitudinal stringers and transverse beams chemically bonded to the deck, hull, and transom, with the entire structure then injected with foam for unsinkable flotation. The hull is cored with Nidacore or Klegecell, with over eight layers of glass in the keel — resulting in a boat built to handle offshore conditions while keeping the whole family safe aboard.
