36' Trojan 1977

Trojan has long been recognized as one of the most respected names in classic American yacht building, producing durable, comfortable motor yachts that have earned a loyal following throughout the Great Lakes and beyond. The 36 Tri-Cabin remains one of Trojan's most iconic designs thanks to its exceptionally spacious layout, solid fiberglass construction, and outstanding liveaboard practicality. Decades after production, these yachts continue to be highly sought after by boaters looking for a comfortable floating cottage, weekend cruiser, or affordable motor yacht with timeless styling. The 1977 Trojan 36 Tri-Cabin was designed with comfort and livability as its highest priorities. Its signature three-cabin layout features a private forward stateroom, spacious main salon, and full private aft cabin, providing exceptional accommodations rarely found in a yacht of this size. Wide side decks, generous beam, and excellent visibility from the flybridge make moving around the boat safe and comfortable, while the large salon and abundant natural light create an inviting atmosphere whether entertaining guests or enjoying extended time aboard. Powered by twin Chrysler 400 cubic-inch gasoline engines producing 280 horsepower each, this freshwater yacht delivers dependable cruising performance and is equipped with a 6.5 kW Onan generator along with reverse-cycle heat and air conditioning for comfortable boating throughout the season. This particular Trojan has an exceptional ownership story that truly sets it apart. Built in nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake, she has remained a freshwater vessel her entire life and has been lovingly owned by the same family for the past 41 years while being moored at the same marina in Fort Erie. Annual maintenance and consistent care have kept the boat in excellent running condition, reflecting the pride of ownership throughout. Included with the sale is a custom-built storage trailer that may also be purchased separately if desired. Whether you're looking for an affordable liveaboard, a spacious family cruiser, or a classic Great Lakes motor yacht with an incredible history, this well-cared-for Trojan is ready to continue creating memories with her next owners.
