37 Hunter 1990 Boat for Sale

37' Hunter 1990

The Hunter Legend 37.5 is one of the standout designs from Hunter’s performance-oriented Legend series, combining a surprisingly quick hull with the interior volume and comfort that made Hunter so successful with cruising sailors. Introduced for the 1990 model year and designed by the Hunter Design Group, the 37.5 features a fractional sloop rig, broad 12’9” beam, spacious two-cabin interior, generous galley and an unusually large aft stateroom for a boat of this size. With approximately 704 sq. ft. of working sail area, a relatively moderate displacement of 16,400 lbs., and a fin keel/spade rudder configuration, the Legend 37.5 offers considerably more sailing performance than its roomy cruising accommodations might suggest. The walk-through transom and swim platform also make boarding from a dinghy or enjoying time at anchor particularly easy. The Hunter Legend 37.5 hits a sweet spot for sailors who want genuine sailing performance without giving up the comfort and space of a cruising boat. With her fractional rig, responsive hull and balanced sail plan, she is rewarding to sail while remaining manageable for a couple or short-handed crew. Below decks, the nearly 13-foot beam creates an exceptionally spacious interior for a 37-footer. Generous headroom, two private cabins, a comfortable salon, functional cruising galley and unusually large aft stateroom make her equally well suited to weekends aboard or extended cruising. Her Yanmar diesel, substantial water capacity and practical cruising systems add to her appeal, while the walk-through transom and integrated swim platform make dinghy access, swimming and stern boarding easy—particularly valuable for Pacific Northwest cruising. For buyers looking for an affordable performance cruiser rather than choosing between speed and comfort, the Hunter Legend 37.5 deserves serious consideration.3 CALL NOW TO ARRANGE YOUR PRIVATE SHOWING OR BOOK A PERSONAL VIDEO WALKTHROUGH
