40' Riviera 2004

2004 Riviera 40 Open Flybridge

 Twin Cummins 6CTA-8.3M3 “480CE” diesel w/3,827 hours.

11kW Kohler generator installed in 2018 w/1,930 hours.

The main engines have received extensive service, including a top-end rebuild at 2,700 hours, yearly raw-water-system service since 2021, replacement of both turbos and exhaust in 2021, a replacement port aftercooler in 2025, and a replacement starboard raw-water pump in 2026. The props were also refurbished and repitched in 2024 to reduce engine load and fuel burn.

Notable equipment and upgrades include:

  • Twin air-conditioning units installed in 2018

  • 350kg folding davit crane

  • Four Lumitec SeaBlaze X2 underwater lights

  • Nova Kool refrigerator/freezer

  • U-Line ice maker installed in 2025

  • Washer/dryer

  • Custom Tempur-Pedic master mattress

  • VacuFlush head

  • Raymarine Axiom 12 Pro with sounder

  • Garmin 943xsv

  • Raymarine ST6001+ autopilot

  • Standard Horizon VHF with AIS and NMEA 2000

  • Yacht Devices engine gateway for engine data on the displays

  • New three-sided flybridge enclosure in 2025

  • Fusion RA670 stereo with eight speakers and 12" subwoofer

  • Cockpit refrigerator/freezer

  • Livewell and in-deck fishbox systems

The interior has also seen several updates, including salon and bunk-room flooring in 2022, master flooring in 2021, updated salon ceiling upholstery, remote-controlled window shades, and custom TV enclosures in both the salon and master stateroom.
