42' Silverton 2000

Silverton Yachts, founded in the late 1960s in New Jersey, established a reputation for building comfortable, spacious, and affordable mid-size cruisers, convertibles, and motor yachts. Known for maximizing interior space and offering great value, they were popular choices for families, couples, and those looking for liveaboard comfort. Silverton aimed to provide maximum living space, often featuring large, open salons, panoramic windows, and comfortable, well-appointed cabins. One of their more popular models was the 422 Motor Yacht. The Silverton 422 MY, produced from 1996 to 2001, was a popular entry-level aft-cabin cruiser, lauded for maximizing interior volume and offering high-value features for its size. It was well-regarded for a spacious two-stateroom layout, comfortable, bright salon, and innovative steps to the bridge and swim platform, making it a favorite for families and liveaboard cruising. Often considered an excellent choice for entertaining, complete with a wet bar and large aft deck, the 422 MY was also known for comfortable, stable, and straightforward handling in rough seas. "Boys N Toys" is the perfect vessel to get you into the aft-cabin cruiser world, whether you are new to this style of boating or a seasoned veteran. She has everything you need to utilize her as a cruiser, a weekender getaway vessel, or a liveaboard. Complete with a spacious main salon, a fully-equipped galley, and two double staterooms, with the master featuring a centerline berth and ensuite head, there is plenty of room for yourself, family and friends! A second head ensures plenty of privacy and amenities. Venture out to the huge aft deck and enjoy the sunshine, sunsets, or a cocktail. Feel free to stay here in all kinds of weather as well, thanks to the newly upgraded full wrap around canvas and isinglass. The flybridge and helm area includes forward lounge seating, offering good visibility for navigation, complete with upgraded Garmin and marine stereo controls. The bridge is also fully enclosed with newly upgraded canvas/isinglass, which was done just this year. Other recent upgrades include new engines in 2012, custom aft deck refrigerator (2023), vinyl snap down aft deck carpeting (2023), new mid A/C unit (2024), new cutlass bearing and reconditioned props (2024), replaced exhaust manifolds and risers (2025), reupholstered helm bench seat, and more.
