Ginnnie C Yacht Description

ONE OF A KIND, MASSIVE COCKPIT, ALBIN CRUISER! When we say one of a kind, we mean one of a kind! Ginnie C is the only factory built enclosed fly bridge 45' Command Bridge that Albin ever produced. She is fast, comfortable and absolutely loaded. This Albin is equipped with a water maker, cockpit kitchen including electric BBQ and sink, Reverso oil change system, Onan gen-set, bow dinghy davit, full size Maytag refrigerator and that's just scratching the surface.

Interior

Starting with the enclosed fly bridge, she is armed with one of the most loaded helm stations you will ever see. From the captain's seat and adjacent first mate chair, you have a 360 degree view of what's happening outside as well as an unobstructed view of what's ahead. With this unique design, this station is all that is needed to operate this Command Bridge Albin. Along with a half circle leather couch that will comfortably seat 6-8 adults, there is also a large screen TV, full surround sound stereo system, and access to all the marine electronics and engine and generator controls. Walking off the back deck and into the rear salon/kitchen area, you will immediately feel the warmth of the extensive teak and mahogany cabinetry. The kitchen is spacious and includes an electric oven and stove, full size refrigerator, ample storage and prep space and a Arietta kitchen vent system. The full size salon offers seating for 8, a flat-screen TV with a Bose sound system. After a hard day on the water, this will be a popular spot to gather and tell war stories. Moving forward, there is a guest head to port that connects to a central shower that can be accessed from both the guest and master head. To starboard is a guest stateroom with 2 large bunk beds, a study desk, and plenty of gear storage. As you move into the queen bed v-berth, you will notice more stunning cabinetry and tons of storage space. The master is also equipped with a flat screen TV and surround sound system.

On Deck

The cockpit on Ginnie C is as equally impressive as the amenities of the interior. She is armed with a large fish box, outdoor kitchen including ice maker, sink and electric BBQ. There are plenty of rod holders, large storage boxes built into the transom, and a well placed transom door offering access to a large swim step. The current owner installed a custom hydraulic pot puller and runs up to 20 shrimp pots at a time. The 16' wide beam offers ample storage for shrimp and crab pots as well as coolers and deck chairs for the warm Southeast Alaska day. One of the cooler items aboard Ginnie C is the hydraulic hatch in the cockpit that opens up to the engine room. This feature allows you to crawl all around both engines and access the oil changing system and generator. The overall width of this Albin also gives you plenty of room to walk around to the bow and work the davit and heavy duty anchor wench.

Engine And Mechanical

Ginnie C is impressively powered by a pair of Volvo Penta D-9 575 HP engines. With around 850 total hours on her, she is just getting broken in. With this much power, you have multiple cruising options. She cruises around 18 knots while burning about 30 gallons an hour, and can turn up to almost 25 knots if need be. With 770 gallons of fuel, you have over 25 hours of run time. The engine room also boasts a Cummins/Onan 13.5 KW generator and a super slick Reverso oil change system which allows you to easily change the oil in the generator, engines and transmissions all from one spot in the engine room.

Electrical And Electronics

This Command Bridge has a full arsenal of high end electronics. Including a Raymarine E120 multi function radar and G.P.S., Raymarine DSM300 sounder, Raymarine CCTV video camera and a Simrad auto pilot with Tracvision G6 satellite receiver. She is also equipped with a Muir heavy duty electric davit, 3 Cruisiar air handlers, a Webasto forced air furnace and a Splendide all in one washer/dryer.
