Silverton Yachts, founded in the late 1960s in New Jersey, established a reputation for building comfortable, spacious, and affordable mid-size cruisers, convertibles, and motor yachts. Known for maximizing interior space and offering great value, they were popular choices for families, couples, and those looking for liveaboard comfort. Silverton aimed to provide maximum living space, often featuring large, open salons, panoramic windows, and comfortable, well-appointed cabins. One of their more popular and successful models was the 453 Motor Yacht.

The Silverton 453 MY, which was built between 1999 and 2003, is a cavernous, high-volume vessel famously known as a "floating condo". By replacing traditional walk-around side decks with molded staircases to the bridge - Silverton's signature "SideWalk" design - the 453 maximizes interior space, boasting dimensions and a layout rivaling much larger yachts. It features a spacious 3-stateroom, 2-head layout. The amidships VIP stateroom is massive and nearly identical in size to the aft full-beam master cabin. Elevating the galley forward of the salon opens up the entertaining spaces, providing ample counter space, a multi-unit fridge/freezer setup, and a dedicated dinette. The aft deckn features an enclosed hardtop, wet bar, and icemaker, while the bridge features abundant guest seating and excellent vantage points for cruising or navigating.

"Sweet Caroline" exhibits the perfect blend of entertaining space, overnight accommodations, and room for just kicking back and relaxing! She has some nice updated features such as a fully screened in aft deck, Sea Dek flooring throughout the moulded steps and walk-around side decks, electric fireplace and upgraded entertainment system, and Lewmar stern thrusters. Complete with a dinghy and davits already installed on the large swim platform, this would make for a perfect Great Loop boat as well! Additional outdoor space enjoyed on top of the aft deck hardtop with loungers and handrail for safety. Beautiful features include custom stools that butt up to bar/breakfast bar, massive refrigerator/freezer in the galley, oversized full tub in the master head, central vac, multi-zone A/C and more.
