Le Centurion 47 a été utilisé dans le film de Claude Lelouch, itinéraire d’un enfant gâté avec Jean Paul Belmondo. Pendant le tournage, le bateau fût skippé par Michel Malinosky ainsi que Henri Wauquiez et Véronique Wauquiez. Les prises de vue avec le bateau eurent lieu dans la baie de St Tropez. Les prises de vues à l’intérieur du bateau furent prises à quai. Pour donner l’impression d’être en mer par gros temps, Michel Malinosky, Henri Wauquiez et Véronique Wauquiez bougeaient le bateau de chaque côté. Jean Paul Belmondo quant à lui, n’avait qu’à bien se tenir à l’intérieur !

Ce pur voilier de très grande classe est un développement du célèbre Victory, un des meilleurs admiralers jamais produit. La carène, le plan de pont et le gréement sont conçus pour la performance.

L’esthétique de ce centurion est une indiscutable réussite. La conception du plan de pont est remarquable de netteté et de simplicité ; le roof se fond dans le pont en dégageant de très larges passavants et l’équipage reste pourtant parfaitement protégé dans un profond cockpit.

Confortablement installé derrière la grande barra à roue, 14,30m de pont devant vous, vous remontez au vent à moins de 30° de vent apparent, et connaissez la griserie de la vitesse. Au portant, vous flirtez avec des vitesses de 12 à 15 kts, sans jamais avoir de craintes tellement l’équilibre est parfait.

Le confort du Centurion c’est, trois cabines indépendantes, ce sont deux cabinets de toilettes chacun équipés d’une douche. C’est aussi le confort à la mer, d’un bateau raide, puissant, aux mouvements doux et d’une exceptionnelle douceur à la barre.

The Centurion 47 was used in Claude Lelouch's film, "Itinerary of a Spoiled Child," with Jean Paul Belmondo. During filming, the boat was skippered by Michel Malinosky, Henri Wauquiez, and Véronique Wauquiez. Shots with the boat took place in the bay of St Tropez. Shots inside the boat were taken dockside. To give the impression of being at sea in rough weather, Michel Malinosky, Henri Wauquiez, and Véronique Wauquiez moved the boat from side to side. Jean Paul Belmondo, on the other hand, just had to hold on inside!
