This beautiful 55ft Custom Cutter was Built by Ocean 80 in Auckland. NZ. and Designed by Alan Wright. Cheyenne is a superbly built boat that’s ready to comfortably take on the world or just be a dependable condo on the water, whatever your dream is or becomes. She is a rare boat that combines the exhilaration of being a fabulous sailing vessel while at the same time providing super comfortable living. This cold molded boat is a composite construction of three layers of kouri wood, each permeated with epoxy and a final coat of fiberglass, which makes her strong, light, and fast. Built as a racer cruiser, she’s looped the Pacific to New Zealand multiple times and has transited through the Panama Canal. She’s been totally and beautifully refurbished—electrical, plumbing, galley, and salon--and sports new electronics (2022/23) from the radar to the multifunction display, including depth, wind, and knot meter.
The bottom was stripped, primed and bottom painted in 2022
