Yacht Description

"Pelagial" was designed by McCurdy & Rhodes and built by Hinckley Yachts for a very knowledgeable yachtswoman who previously owned several smaller Hinckley models. This design led to the development of the popular Hinckley 59.Her current owner was involved in her original commissioning and was her delivery skipper in her early years. After an interim ownership, "Pelagial's" ownership has come full circle. Her fit and finish are second to none and her ketch rig makes for a proper bluewater yacht. Electric furling and electric winches allow a couple to sail her and numerous upgrades have been made recently to keep her systems current. Her teak decks were replaced recently as was her main engine. Stored on land since 2017, she has recently been launched and now lovingly tended to by her current owner and is ready to go. "Pelagial is a proper yacht, with classic McCurdy & Rhodes lines, a Maine pedigree, and will turn heads in any anchorage. Recent survey availalble.
