SUDS IV offers an excellent opportunity for buyers seeking a well-regarded cruising yacht under 60' — complete with CAT power, respected Offshore build quality, and now priced to reflect her next owner's vision.
Well-regarded for their build quality and seaworthiness, the Offshore 58 Pilothouse is a proven cruising platform with classic lines, fine entry, and the legendary Crealock hull design, offering a smooth, dry ride in a variety of sea conditions. Built for long-range coastal and island cruising, the Offshore 58/62 series has earned a reputation as a go-anywhere yacht that’s equally comfortable at anchor or underway.
SUDS IV is powered by dependable twin CAT 3406E engines and equipped with Wesmar stabilizers, updated Garmin electronics (2024). She features a warm and intelligently laid out interior with three staterooms, a full-beam (Midship with private entry) master, and a spacious salon and pilothouse arrangement ideal for a hands-on cruising couple.
The current owners have enjoyed SUDS IV for the past decade, making multiple extended runs up and down the East Coast, and have now decided it’s time to hand her off to her next stewards.
The Offshore 58 is known for its warm and well-balanced interior, ideal for extended cruising and liveaboard comfort. Upon entering from the aft deck through double doors, you’re welcomed into a spacious salon featuring a large U-shaped settee to port with storage beneath. To starboard, two barrel chairs sit opposite a custom cabinet housing a high/low TV and surround sound system. Hunter Douglas blinds and Textaline window covers throughout the salon and pilothouse offer both privacy and sun protection.
Forward to port is the galley, fully equipped with a side-by-side refrigerator, three-burner cooktop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, along with generous cabinetry and countertop space for extended provisioning.
The pilothouse offers excellent visibility and a commanding helm, with updated electronics, full instrumentation, and port/starboard side deck access via sliding doors. A raised settee with a table doubles as an additional berth if needed. A wet bar with refrigerator/ice maker is located to starboard, and an interior stairway provides easy access to the flybridge.
Guest accommodations are accessed via a stairway forward of the pilothouse, featuring a VIP stateroom forward with a Queen-size bed, and a twin bunk cabin to port. The guest head includes a large stall shower and was updated with a Headhunter toilet system.
A separate stairway from the main salon accesses the private master stateroom. It features an athwartships King-size bed with storage below, a large hanging locker, ample drawer storage, a vanity, and a built-in TV. The ensuite head offers a spacious vanity, teak and holly sole, excellent storage, and a large stall shower. Port and starboard opening portlights bring in great natural light and cross ventilation.
On the flybridge, the helm is positioned forward with dual helm chairs and full redundancy of navigation electronics. An L-shaped settee with a table is to port, while a wet bar and refrigerator are located to starboard. Aft, the boat deck accommodates a tender, a sun lounge, and a dock box, with access down to the aft deck via a stainless ladder.
Forward helm station with complete electronics redundancy, dual helm chairs, L-shaped seating, wet bar with refrigerator, and space for tender and sun loungers.
Note: All range estimates assume ~90% of total fuel capacity (900 gallons usable), clean bottom, moderate load, and ideal sea conditions.
