Dodge Buoy Yacht Description

The magnificent DODGE BUOY is a US built yacht, boasting Europa side decks, a Portuguese bridge and a commanding pilothouse.  Exceptionally handsome lines, glossy varnish, bright white exterior, oiled teak side decks, covered aft deck...stoutly built with 1 7/8" Douglas Fir planks and 1 3/4" Mahogany secured to Oak frames with bronze fasteners, the flawlessly faired hull is perfectly smooth and reflective, it would pass for fiberglass.  The superstructure and decks are fiberglass... 

Powered by a 342 Caterpillar, 320hp, partnered with an in-line get-home D311 Caterpillar engine.  Bow and stern thrusters, Naiad stabilizer fins, four generators (8KW to 17KW), 2500W inverter, almost 6' headroom in the spacious engine room with work shop and fuel tank access.  Everything is coded, marked, assembled in a professional, organized, easy to maintain functionality.

Equipped with 36 and 48-mile radars, GPS chartplotter, AIS, three depth sounders, marine radios, autopilot with remote, full library of manuals for every system.  Has an 11' Avon tender with 25hp outboard, emergency life raft, two boat deck cranes, hydraulic anchor winch, 200# anchor, 450' chain.
