For sale a beautiful example of a very rare 2006 Solaris 72 Deck House is available. It is presented in very good condition and has been very well maintained by its full-time captain and experienced owner over the last few years.
Designed by the reknowned Doug Peterson for long-distance cruising and round-the-world voyages in extreme conditions, she enables safe, fast and comfortable sailing, even with a small crew.
She offers all the features desired in a blue water cruising yacht, such as great tankage, twin engine control, air conditioning, a generator, a watermaker, hydraulic in-mast furling, hydraulic Reckmann head sail furlers, a diving compressor and much more.
The cockpit is very safe, featuring separate twin helm stations and a guest area with a forward-facing bimini. The spacious foredeck has storage for a tender and the self-tacking jib ensures easy sailing.
Below deck, she boasts a very comfortable, elevated saloon with a navigation area to starboard, and a galley to port and a small lounge to starboard forward of the saloon. The master cabin with an en-suite bathroom is located forward.
Two double guest cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom, are located aft of the main saloon.
The crew quarters have two bunks, an ensuite head and direct access to the deck.
There is a spacious and very well sound proofed engine and machinery compartment at its centre, with double separated access from the interior and exterior.
