Mylius M72 Description

The Mylius M72 is a full-carbon performance cruiser that embodies the perfect balance between Italian design, cutting-edge technology and uncompromising performance. Designed in collaboration with Carkeek Design Partners, it combines sleek, modern lines with state-of-the-art engineering solutions.

Thanks to its carbon fiber construction, the M72 is exceptionally light and stiff, ensuring stability, speed and superior comfort both for fast cruising and competitive offshore and inshore racing. Twin rudders, the option of a retractable keel with up to 6 meters of draft, and a water ballast system deliver precise control and outstanding performance even in demanding conditions.

The deck plan, carefully studied in every detail, is designed for maximum efficiency and simplicity, allowing for safe and high-performance handling both with a reduced crew and in full race mode.

The interiors, designed by Parisotto + Formenton Architetti, are conceived as true architectures on the sea: smooth surfaces, fluid lines and a contemporary style that highlights the structural beauty of the hull. Each space can be highly customized, with a wide choice of materials and color palettes – from a high-tech carbon look to warmer and more Mediterranean-inspired atmospheres.

The M72 is more than a yacht – it is a statement of design and technology, a blend of performance, elegance and comfort that epitomizes Italian Style at its finest

Knowledge of the sea, engineering, high technology, design and innovation: this is the paradigm by which

Mylius has defined new standards in the world of yachts, harmonizing speed and performance, comfort and safety in a perfect synthesis reading the uniqueness of this mix in yachts designed to express the “Italian Style” at its best.

The full carbon construction allows to create boats that are much lighter compared to traditional production boats with several advantages, even when used for cruising. As everybody knows, a light boat with the weight concentrated low has less roll and pitch movements rather than an heavy boat, offering better comfort both in navigation and in a marina or when anchored in a beautiful bay.

A performance-cruiser with sharp lines

The interior design was conceived as part of a reasoning and an overall vision of sailing yachts that are considered as objects of architecture on the sea:

smooth, fluid and sharp surfaces shape the inner shell where the hull is always visible to reinforce the perception of being inside a walnut shell that follows the

movements of the sea.

Key features of the M72: powerful yacht with unique and streamlined water lines, possibility of use for fast and safe cruising and for offshore and inshore racing,

systems studied in detail and integrated on board by means of a 3D software, finite element calculation for the optimization of the engineering of the structures

and the hull, double rudder blade with split wheelhouse system, possibility of retractable keel with draft up to 6 meters for high performance, water ballast to

optimize stability and navigation, studied deck plan for maximum efficiency and simplicity, different style options for interiors and exteriors.
