The Highfield ADV7 is unlike anything else available in this price class. It is Highfield's first fiberglass-hulled boat and the opening statement of an entirely new ADV (Adventure) line, developed in collaboration with naval architect Andrej Justin and design studios VOM Creations and Alpha Studio in Ljubljana. The result is a 23-foot crossover that defies easy categorization: it has the safety and buoyancy of a RIB, the interior volume and social layout of a dayboat, and the performance of a serious outboard center console - all in a package light enough to tow behind a family SUV.
Where a traditional RIB wraps large tubes around the hull and loses interior space in the process, the ADV7 mounts slim 13-inch Hypalon tubes high above the waterline. This elevates the freeboard, keeps the tubes clear of the water for reduced drag and noise, and — critically — frees up an extraordinary 6 feet 7 inches of interior beam. For a 23-foot boat, that is center console territory. The fiberglass hull contributes a deep-V 20-degree deadrise that cuts cleanly through chop, delivers a dry ride in following and crossing seas, and gives the helm a precise, connected feel that aluminum-hull RIBs simply cannot match.
Powering this particular boat is a Mercury 250 Verado V-8 with power assist hydraulic steering — the ideal match for the ADV7's 2,866 lb. displacement. Expect strong acceleration, effortless cruising in the mid-30-knot range, and the confidence of Mercury's industry-leading Verado reliability and service network. Newport and Narragansett Bay have no shortage of days when you need that performance on the way home.
The interior layout is purpose-built for a full day on the water with family or friends. A U-shaped dinette aft converts to a sunpad or opens up around the swim platforms for post-swim gathering. The bow features a second large sundeck. A full-length center console houses the helm with twin sports-style seats, a wraparound glass windshield, and a sink in the galley. This boat is equipped with a refrigerator, hydraulic rear table with pedestal, windlass, shower, and a portable toilet — the kind of amenity list you'd expect on a boat 10 feet longer. The Gold Series stereo with 4 speakers and the electric sunshade round out a specification that is genuinely superyacht-tender in its execution.
