Nordic Tug 32 Accommodations
At Ease offers a practical and comfortable layout designed specifically for extended cruising by a couple while still accommodating occasional guests.
The private master stateroom is located forward and features the highly desirable centerline island berth introduced with the Nordic Tug 32+ redesign. This arrangement provides easy access from both sides of the bed while creating a far more spacious feel than traditional V-berth configurations. The master features a custom mattress with foam topper, three opening screened portlights, an overhead screened hatch, hanging locker storage, and abundant cabinetry.
Immediately aft is the spacious head compartment featuring a Techma electric macerating toilet, vanity with sink, mirror, storage cabinetry, hot and cold pressure water, and a dedicated shower area. An opening screened portlight provides natural ventilation.
Three steps up brings you to the raised pilothouse. One of the signature features of the Nordic Tug design, the pilothouse provides commanding visibility in all directions and direct access to both side decks through sliding port and starboard doors.
Moving aft and down two steps is the salon and galley area. Large Diamond Sea-Glaze windows provide abundant natural light while creating excellent visibility from throughout the interior. A recently reupholstered L-shaped settee converts into additional sleeping accommodations when needed.
From the salon, a hinged door provides access to the cockpit, swim platform, lazarette, and boat deck. Strategically placed handrails throughout the vessel provide safe and secure movement whether underway or at anchor.
Nordic Tug 32 Master Stateroom
The forward master stateroom is one of the most significant improvements made to the Nordic Tug 32+ and offers accommodations typically found aboard much larger vessels. The centerline island berth allows easy access from either side and is complemented by a custom mattress with foam topper. An overhead screened hatch and three opening screened portlights provide outstanding natural light and ventilation. Generous storage is found throughout the cabin in hanging lockers, drawers, and cabinetry, making the space ideal for extended cruising.
Nordic Tug 32 Head
The enlarged head compartment aboard the 32+ offers significantly more comfort than earlier models. The space features a Techma electric macerating toilet installed in 2022, vanity with sink, mirrored storage cabinet, separate shower area, hot and cold pressure water, opening screened portlight, and ample storage for toiletries and cruising essentials.
Nordic Tug 32 Pilothouse
The raised pilothouse is one of the defining characteristics of the Nordic Tug line and one of the reasons owners become so passionate about these boats. At Ease features recently reupholstered helm and companion seating with fold-down footrests, port and starboard sliding access doors, overhead hatch, and exceptional visibility in all directions. The full navigation suite is conveniently arranged at the helm, while direct access to the engine room through the pilothouse sole allows quick daily inspections and maintenance checks. The ability to step directly from the helm to either side deck makes docking and lock operations especially simple.
Nordic Tug 32 Salon
The salon is warm, bright, and comfortable with excellent visibility and natural light. A recently reupholstered L-shaped convertible settee provides comfortable seating for owners and guests while also offering additional sleeping accommodations when needed. Large Diamond Sea-Glaze windows surround the salon and are equipped with one-way UV tinted window film, Levolor cordless cellular shades, and custom snap-on privacy shades. Storage is located beneath the seating and throughout the salon, creating a functional and inviting living space for extended cruising.
Nordic Tug 32 Galley
The redesigned galley found aboard the Nordic Tug 32+ is one of the most practical and user-friendly arrangements in this size range. Located to port, the galley is equipped with a Seaward Princess electric two-burner cooktop with oven and broiler, side-by-side Nova Kool refrigerator and freezer, microwave oven, stainless steel sink, pressure hot and cold water system, and a separate filtered drinking water faucet. Abundant storage throughout the galley makes provisioning for extended cruises simple and convenient. A new Kuma six-gallon water heater was installed in October of 2025.
Nordic Tug 32 Electronics And Navigation
At Ease is exceptionally well equipped for navigation and cruising. At the helm is a Raymarine A-Series 12-inch touchscreen multifunction display featuring GPS chart plotting, depth sounder, radar integration, and rear-view camera capability. Navigation is enhanced by Raymarine Lighthouse software, a Raymarine RMK-9 remote keypad, Raymarine autopilot with p70 color display, and a Raymarine S100 wireless autopilot remote.
Additional electronics include a Raymarine Tridata instrument displaying depth and water temperature, Standard Horizon VHF radio, AIS transceiver with dedicated antenna installed in 2022, Danforth Corsair III compass, navigation lighting, and an AFI dual trumpet electric horn installed in 2019.
Entertainment is provided through a Fusion MS-RA205 stereo system with Sirius capability, auxiliary input, and salon remote control.
Nordic Tug 32 Engine Room & Mechanical
One of the greatest strengths of the Nordic Tug design is engine room accessibility. Daily checks and routine maintenance can be performed quickly and safely through large access hatches located in the pilothouse sole.
Power is provided by the highly respected Cummins Diamond Series 6BTA 5.9M diesel engine rated at 270 horsepower. With just 2,191 original hours, this engine remains well within the service life expected of the legendary 5.9-liter Cummins platform. Power is delivered through a Twin Disc MG-5049 transmission and a Michigan Wheel four-blade propeller.
Additional mechanical equipment includes Walker AirSep filtration, dual Racor fuel filtration systems for the main engine, dedicated Racor filtration for the generator, a Reverso oil change system, PSS dripless shaft seal, Morse electronic controls, Teleflex SeaStar hydraulic steering, engine block heater, Fireboy automatic fire suppression system, automatic emergency engine shutdown system, Rule high-water alarm, TankWatch monitoring system, and engine alarm system.
Climate control is provided by dual-zone MarineAir reverse-cycle heat and air conditioning systems consisting of 12,000 and 16,000 BTU units with digital controls. The vessel also benefits from engine-supplied cabin heat for cool weather cruising.
Docking and maneuvering are made exceptionally easy through a Sleipner Side-Power bow thruster and Vetus stern thruster installed in 2017.
Electrical power away from the dock is provided by an Onan 5kW generator housed within a sound shield and showing only 249 hours.
Recent upgrades include a new Cummins starter, air conditioning raw water pump, and Kuma water heater, all installed in 2025.
Nordic Tug 32 Electrical System
At Ease has been thoughtfully upgraded for extended cruising and comfortable anchoring. Twin 30-amp shore power connections support the vessel's AC electrical systems while a Xantrex multi-stage battery charger maintains the battery banks.
A Xantrex 3,000-watt inverter and four solar panels producing approximately 490 watts provide outstanding off-grid capability. The solar system is managed through a Victron controller installed in 2022 and supplies power to dedicated inverter circuits.
Electrical storage consists of four 6-volt house batteries, dedicated engine start battery, generator start battery, and separate thruster and windlass batteries. All primary battery banks were replaced in July 2025. Battery monitoring systems, battery parallel capabilities, LED lighting throughout, and numerous 12-volt outlets further enhance the vessel's cruising capabilities.
Nordic Tug 32 Deck & Hull Equipment
At Ease was designed for safe movement and easy operation whether cruising as a couple or entertaining guests. Ground tackle consists of a Mantis 45-pound anchor installed in 2022, 110 feet of all-chain rode, and an additional 120-foot rode. Anchor handling is managed through a Lofrans Tigres electric windlass with helm controls, bow-mounted foot controls, and anchor washdown system.
The vessel features a bow pulpit with anchor roller, stainless steel railings, non-skid fiberglass decks, windshield wipers and washers, windshield defrosters, swim platform, swim ladder, cockpit hot and cold shower, freshwater washdown, and built-in cockpit storage box.
Solar screens provide shade and heat reduction throughout the pilothouse while custom window treatments enhance privacy and comfort.
With a bridge clearance of approximately 13 feet 6 inches, At Ease is ideally suited for America's Great Loop and inland cruising adventures.
Nordic Tug 32 Tender & Davit System
Included in the sale is a Highfield 9-foot 9-inch aluminum RIB tender powered by a low-hour Suzuki 9.9-horsepower four-stroke outboard. Launching and retrieval are simplified through a Dinghy Butler electric davit system installed in 2022, making tender operations safe and effortless for a cruising couple.
