1973–2023 Bertram 31 Flybridge Cruiser
2023 Refit!!
This Bertram 31 Flybridge Cruiser was professionally refit in 2023 and repowered with twin Yamaha four-stroke outboards equipped with fly-by-wire controls and steering at both the upper and lower helm stations.
The refit was completed to a high standard, with most major systems replaced or upgraded. The Yamaha Helm Master EX system includes joystick controls, control binnacles, and integrated autopilot. The flybridge features new upholstery, a bench seat behind the helm, a new Eisenglass enclosure, and Garmin electronics. The lower helm station is similarly equipped with Garmin electronics and Yamaha controls. A forward-looking SIONYX camera is also integrated with the Garmin system.
The spacious cockpit offers plenty of room for fishing and watersports. Features include a livewell, large fish boxes, ample storage, easy bilge access, and convenient access to fuel filters for simplified maintenance.
Check out this page from history and enjoy its many improvments and upgrades.

The last Silver Anniversary Editions of the Bertram 31 Flybridge Cruiser feature an oak wood interior and a contemporary color scheme. Outside is a characteristicly huge cockpit with a teak sole. Black and silver striping along with smoked window shading help highlight this model. Also standard is cockpit coaming padding, special bottom paint, aluminum rails, and a Blaupunkt stereo. But underneath, there's the same original hull design that raced through heavy, wind-whipped, ten-to-twelve-foot seas to win the roughest Miami to Nassau race ever held.
