With a full keel, sturdy displacement and a versatile sail plan, Blue skies is a dream to sail. Everyone knows the Island Packet 40 is a great blue water cruiser built for strong winds but she is just as comfortable along the coast in light air with a top down furling spinnaker. Truly easy one person deployment and furling of a beautiful red and white asymentrical chute. Not only is the boat comfortable but the crew will be as well as the cockpit is deep and with a full height bimini/dodger with side curtains you can escape the rain storms and sea spray. The interior is fresh with upgraded cushions and mattresses. The Teak and holly floors look great and the refrigerator is easy access with an upgraded vertical door. no more climbing into the bottom of the fridge to find a cold beer.
