This Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition is a beautifully optioned example of one of the best designs in her size range and is in spectacular condition. Her express style contains more usable space than much larger vessels thanks to her brilliant layout. A full-beam, midship stateroom with ensuite head anchors the 3 stateroom / 2 head sleeping accommodations. The VIP stateroom has a walk-around queen berth and the 3rd stateroom has upper and lower bunks.
Dual Recaro sport seats are at the helm across from the U-shaped seating and dining portion of the Salon. Just aft of that is a large, full-function Galley. The door to the aft deck is accompanied by an opening window section to make the aft deck almost entirely open to the inside of the boat. L-shaped seating and a folding table have access to an optional chest freezer under the side cushion and fender storage under one of the aft cushions. To starboard is a grill, refrigerator and ice maker and sink, and aft is side deck and swim platform access.
The engine room is reached through a large hatch in the aft deck. Walk-around side decks lead to the bow area, complete with tanning pad and bow hatch accessing the windlass, anchor locker and fresh water washdown hose. Down the steps from the aft deck, the swim platform is hydraulically actuated for carrying a tender or for other water activities. Electric rams support the opening transom section revealing storage for fenders, lines and water toys and this section contains stereo speakers too!
Captain Fun, due to her fantastic layout and added refrigeration and storage, is better suited than most any other vessel in her class for extended family cruising, while being simple and small enough for short-handed day trips. Captain Fun is in exceptional condition and ready for her next enthusiastic owner!

The Salon is anchored by a large, U-shaped seating and dining area which lies across from the twin helm seats and the full-beam galley is immediately aft. A large sunroof provides loads of light and fresh air when conditions allow, as well as the opening window next to the sliding door in the aft bulkhead. When all are open, outside air flows through. When only one is open, the tropical air conditioning system keeps up impressively well. A large television is hidden face-down in the starboard dashboard when not in use but is well-positioned for great viewing angles when in its upright position.
Aft of the Salon is the full-beam Galley. To port is a cooktop, oven / microwave and sink, in a U-shaped layout with cabinets below the counters and above. On the starboard side is another counter with more cabinets overhead and refrigerator and separate freezer beneath. A large sliding door is centerline and the window to port flips up and out to open most of the aft bulkhead.
The Helm of Captain Fun is on the port side and provides 360-degree sightlines and fantastic ergonomics. Twin Recaro helm chairs with armrests are in close proximity to the Salon table and the galley, so no one is left out of conversation. Cleverly, the opening side window also serves as access from the side deck to the joystick for shorthanded docking.
Aft, through the lower companionway, amidship is the full-beam master stateroom with ensuite head. Huge hull side windows provide stunning views of the water to port and starboard. On the port side is a very large lounge, forward of which a roomy hanging locker, and to starboard is a built-in chest of drawers with the entrance to the head just forward. Nightstands flank the king-sized bed and a TV is flush-mounted in the forward bulkhead. A Fusion integrated sound bar is flush-mounted just below the TV.
In the forepeak is the VIP Stateroom featuring a walk-around queen berth, hull side windows and an opening deck hatch with screen and blackout shade. A hanging locker and drawers are to port and starboard and a 24” TV and Fusion sound system are found on the bulkhead for easy viewing from bed. The 2nd full head which is shared with the bunk room can be privately accessed.
The 3rd Stateroom has over-and-under bunks and shares the 2nd head with the VIP. Access to the head is across the companionway through a hallway door.
Aft of the Galley is the aft deck which can easily become an extension of the Salon and Galley or can act as a separate entertainment area. The large, L-shaped seating, anchored by a dining table with cupholders, lies behind the opening Galley window and door. Captain Fun has the optional built-in freezer beneath the side section of the “L” and the aft section has a hatch to access fenders and lines from the garage. To starboard is a console containing a grill, sink, refrigerator and ice maker, as well as storage. A starboard-side Joystick is on the aft side of that console for easy sightlines while docking, since the other control is on the port side. The starboard side deck is easily accessed from this area, or one may go through a gate to the swim platform and garage area.
Yet another brilliant aspect of the 4600 is the Swim Platform and Garage area. The hydraulically actuated platform can carry a tender or left clear for other uses. The transom of the boat opens upward to access the sealed garage. The port side extends far enough to allow paddle board storage, and the starboard side is shallower to allow more engine room accessibility on the other side. Fender racks and line storage are on that starboard side and a raised area extends fully across the aft side to keep water out and to provide seating when the area is used as a beach club. Speakers in the garage are used when everything is open to people lounging in this area or on in the water. To port is a freshwater shower with hot and cold and the port side deck is accessed from there too.
Handrails lead up the port and starboard side decks to the Bow. A large, cushioned tanning area has reclinable backs and a cover for when not in use. Just aft, on both sides are vented storage areas in the coach top. The windlass, chain locker and freshwater wash-down are beneath two hatches all the way forward. There is a control for the windlass that may be plugged in as well.
