A beautiful 43' Sparkman & Stephens classic built in 1979, owned by the family that originally commissioned her in Barcelonas Shipyard Carabela. Fully refitted.
Her name is 'CARIÑO', which means 'Sweetheart', as the owner loved building her. She is very easy to sail, even single handed. Now based on Menorca. Perfect for family sailing.
The original design briefing for Rod Stephens was: "A manageable boat for two crew members. Big enough to stow all the necessary equipment on board. Looking for maximum comfort to avoid fatigue and tiredness. Hull shapes that would allow passage over the wave without detriment to speed. Stability. Minimal pitching. To be able to sail with little wind and with a bow. A spacious, comfortable cabin. Intimate, where one could isolate oneself from the outside world to read, write, chat and plan. The boat had to be aesthetic and safe, a boat to sail the Mediterranean! "
New engine with only 250h, new generator, new sails, electric winches, teak, gel batteries, rigging, bimini & upholstery, and much more. Invest of over 100k. All invoices available.
