CHAMPAGNE is an exceptional example of the Hatteras 74 Cockpit Motor Yacht — a heavily updated, low-hour, stabilized vessel with the care, protection, and mechanical investment serious Hatteras buyers look for. Built on the 65' Hatteras platform and completed by Hatteras of Lauderdale, she was delivered new as a 74 Cockpit Motor Yacht — not modified after delivery — featuring a full aft cockpit, 1,921 gallons of fuel capacity, and 600 gallons of water capacity.
Her Detroit Diesel 12V92TI engines were overhauled in 2018 and show under 500 hours SMOH— 389 port and 460 starboard as of July 2026 — while the original generators were replaced with new Phasor diesel generators in 2017/2018, showing just 887 and 838 hours as of July 2026. Stabilized with Naiad roll stabilizers and equipped with bow and stern thrusters, Glendinning electronic controls, and three control stations, CHAMPAGNE offers the kind of capability, control, and confidence that make her especially compelling.
Since 2019, CHAMPAGNE has been kept in a covered slip in brackish water, offering meaningful protection from sun exposure and harsh saltwater conditions. Her independent SAMS survey found the bottom blister-free, rated the vessel above average in overall condition, and found her structurally sound.
A completely remodeled 2022 galley, redone owner's suite, fully rebuilt owner's head, (2026) updated systems, and excellent engine room presentation further separate CHAMPAGNE from the typical classic Hatteras offering. For buyers seeking Hatteras quality, cockpit utility, stabilized cruising, and a yacht that has clearly benefited from thoughtful stewardship, CHAMPAGNE deserves serious attention.
