FOR SALE- 2000 58' Taylor Made Convertible "DOUBLE B"
Meet "Double B", a 2000 58' Taylor Made Convertible that has been meticulously refit from top to bottom. Completed between August 2024 and February 2025, this boat is unlike any other custom Carolina vessel on the market. Almost every component is new, offering a truly turnkey experience.
The boat was repowered with new twin MAN V8-1200HP engines (with only 310 hours), coupled with new Twin Disc 5136A 2:1 gears and 20kw Northern Lights generator. The engine room was completely stripped, faired, and painted before installation, ensuring an immaculate presentation. This new setup provides both impressive performance and excellent efficiency. Additionally, the running gear was replaced with all new CJR equipment.
The extensive upgrades weren't limited to the mechanics. The "Double B" received a full exterior Alexseal paint job, new soft goods throughout, Release Marine chairs, Rupp riggers, Seakeeper SK10, Furuno Omni 10, ElectroSea, and all-new electronics. The interior was completely remodeled with new flooring, carpet, countertops, Dometic AC units, and fresh soft goods.
