Dreamsfloat is a 2006 5 Cabin Maxim 57 Catamaran built in Cape Town and currently transiting the South Atlantic under sail on route to Charleston, South Carolina. This proves her Capability as a Blue Water cruiser.

The MAXIM 57 is a very purposeful seagoing vessel and with a vast amount of usable space on board both inside and out for a boat this size.

The control line arrangement on the Maxim 57 makes it easy to sail shorthanded due to the control lines leading back to the cockpit. Extra halyards were installed for reassurance and safety and the boat features ample flat deck space for ease of maneuverability while underway.

Dreamsfloat would make an ideal expedition vessel for large families wanting to explore off the grid or perhaps an affordable expedition catamaran for remote charters in uncharted waters. Built to sail around the world with the length over the waterline and bridge deck clearence that most cruisers can dream of.

The boat has air conditioners in all cabins. 4 are not currently operational. The owners cabin is operational at the moment.

The cost to build a 57 footer with this spec and layout would be astronomical and has been priced as such.
