Encore Yacht for Sale | 42 Morris Yachts Norfolk, VA

Encore Boat | 42' Morris 2008

Encore is an exceptional example of the highly regarded Morris M42, combining timeless good looks, impressive sailing performance, and the exceptional build quality for which Morris Yachts is known.

Her beautiful teak decks and varnished brightwork complement the M42’s traditional lines, while a thoughtfully equipped systems package provides the comforts and convenience expected aboard a modern yacht. Raymarine electronics provide navigation and sailing information at the helm, while a retractable bow thruster makes close-quarters maneuvering and docking significantly easier. Below deck, air conditioning adds another level of comfort for cruising and overnight stays.

The M42 is one of Morris Yachts most successful models ever built and once you take a closer look it's very easy to see why. A fantastic hybrid that incorporates an incredibly easy to handle sail plan including a self tacking jib and all lines run to the helmsperson, luxury accommodations for a couple to cruise for weeks at a time, and all in a jaw-dropping gorgeous package that assures the owner the most beautiful boats in almost any harbor.

Designed in partnership with Sparkman & Stephens, this boat retains all of the great ease of handling features and classic beauty Morris is known for. The new M42 provides greater interior volume for more luxurious accommodation below and an even larger cockpit with more generous seating. This boat is extraordinary in so many ways. It combines performance, comfort and safety in a sailboat of lasting beauty. Encore represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a well-updated Morris M42 without the time and expense associated with bringing an older yacht to this level. With her 2022 refit, beautiful presentation, desirable equipment, and unmistakable Morris pedigree, she is equally suited to elegant daysailing or comfortable coastal cruising.
