First Home Yacht | 92' Cheoy Lee 1988
Professionally maintained with a captain and engineer. Same owners for past 20 years.
First Home is a highly modernized and refit Cheoy Lee 92. She offers sleeping accommodations for 8 in 4 cabins along with crew berths for 4, 5 ensuite heads, a crew head and a day head. Her layout includes a large cockpit that is great for fishing or entertaining, a California deck that is an outdoor/indoor space with a roof, air conditioning and heating, bar, and a large table and fully enclosable. Passing through glass and stainless-steel sliding doors and you enter a vast salon with a bar, table, very large settee, and a grand ottoman that hides a massive TV. The galley is set up as a commercial workspace, with new appliances and a versatile layout that both amateur and professional chefs would appreciate. Also wonderful is how each of the sleeping areas are separate from the other, with the full-beam primary cabin aft, the full-beam VIP quarters all the way forward past the pilothouse, and the two guest cabins each with two twin bunks midship. Everyone gets their own space.
She has undergone many refits over the years, but none as thorough as in 2005-2006 when her current and highly knowledgeable owners purchased her. Nearly the entire interior was gutted to change the entire look and feel of the vessel. The owners added a beautiful maple floor with teak lines throughout; All-new upholstery in each cabin and salon; Added a swim platform, lengthened the flybridge deck to carry more toys which created a roof to the California deck; Upgraded to a 2,500 lb crane (with structural reinforcements); upgradedthe galley; added a glass and stainless steel door into the salon; Added watermakers; lowered the floor in the master and raised the ceiling to make it much more comfortable; all new surfaces in all the heads.
Her current crew of a captain and engineer have been doing very useful updates, both cosmetic (vinyl-wrapped hull and part of the house; most of bilges repainted), to practical (fuel system revamped, Air conditioning room redone, new appliances, etc).
She would make an excellent charter vessel, vacation or full-time home for a family.
