"The flagship of the Back Cove fleet, the Back Cove 41 is fitted with an efficient single diesel engine and straight shaft. The addition of thrusters, a generator set, and reverse cycle heat and air conditioning systems make her maneuverable, efficient, and comfortable. Her interior is balanced between two luxurious staterooms, each with a private head. Nautically sensible details and Maine craftsmanship can be found throughout her American cherry interior.
On the main deck, a centralized galley serves the open-air cockpit as easily as the salon. Long range cruisers will appreciate the dual stainless steel refrigerator drawers, freezer mounted below the helm seat, ceramic cooktop, and convection microwave. To starboard, her U-shaped settee converts to a comfortable dinette while enjoying meals on board. Her cockpit is open and welcoming, perfect for cool mornings and sunny afternoons." ~ Back Cove Yachts

Professionaly maintained Foxy II presents like new, and her level of care and maintenance are obvious from the second that you step onboard. "The Back Cove 41 is a ...design from Kevin Burns and the Back Cove Design Team. She is the largest model in the range and she was conceived with the cruising power-boater in mind. Two full sleeping cabins with queen sized sleeping berths, a master head with a large stall shower and a “wet” guest head provide the accommodations for cruisers who wish to travel long distances and have family or friends along for the adventure."
The hull is a vee-shape with a propeller recess on centerline to accommodate the single engine, straightshaft drive line. With downward turning chines and spray rails and a 16 degree deadrise angle at her transom, she will plane efficiently at 12 knots and offer wide open throttle speeds of 26 knots. Fuel consumption is excellent throughout her speed range. A standard gen set and reverse cycle heat and air system provide comfortable living conditions no matter what the weather outside." ~ Back Cove 41 Brochure

"The exterior spaces of the Back Cove 41 are as welcoming as her interior. A center transom door leads from a generously sized swim platform to an expansive and comfortable cockpit. Corner seats to each side offer storage for ground tackle. Her 50 Amp shore power cord retracts using an electrically actuated cord reel. The gen set and additional storage are accessed through the aft cockpit hatch. The forward cockpit hatch provides access to the engine room for daily checks while more in-depth engine room work can be performed through the main salon cabin sole, which is raised with an electric actuator.
In true Back Cove fashion side decks are wide and safe and there is always a hand hold where one would expect it for safe and secure trips to the foredeck and back. On her foredeck anchoring maneuvers are a breeze thanks to a well proportioned windlass." ~ Back Cove 41 Brochure

"The bright and airy main salon and galley of the Back Cove 41 are surrounded by large opening windows, a bi- fold door and electrically operated window aft and a two part “Dutch door” at the helm.
Long range cruisers will appreciate her galley, fitted with two stainless steel refrigerator drawers and a freezer mounted below the helm seat. A ceramic cooktop, convection microwave, many drawers and a deep stainless-steel sink will please the most discriminating cook. Overhead lockers port and starboard plus two large drawers below the settee complete this well-equipped galley. Her settee to starboard converts from a dinette to a U-shaped settee.
The helm station of the Back Cove 41 reflects the needs of serious cruisers. Two Stidd helm chairs for helmsman and mate and a navigational electronics pod large enough for two chart plotters make this space a navigators dream. The side deck door flows air into the interior when underway and allows the helmsman to assist with docking maneuvers when arriving in port." ~ Back Cove 41 Brochure

"The private master stateroom on the Back Cove 41 is a very comfortable and accommodating space for the cruising couple. An island berth is easily accessed and there are multiple lockers and drawers and for all of the personal effects that a cruising couple chooses to take along. Overhead hatches and opening port lights provide air and light to this handsomely crafted space. A television with DVD player is fitted to the starboard side bulkhead.
Your guests will be accommodated in comfort in their own private cabin with queen sized berth and multiple storage spaces. A hatch overhead can be opened for ventilation and light and a portlight in the cabin side also provides light and air.
The guest head is furnished with a large mirror and a vessel sink as well as a fresh water flush MSD. Fresh water heads prevent annoying head odors by keeping salt water out of head hoses.
The master head is bright and airy and offers a large shower stall with glass enclosure. An elegant vessel sink and hand crafted wood-framed mirror, plus a fresh water flush MSD are standard features aboard the Back Cove 41." ~ Back Cove 41 Brochure
