Grace Yacht | 70' Hylas 2008

GRACE is a beautifully presented 2008 Hylas 70, designed by renowned naval architect German Frers and built for serious bluewater cruising without sacrificing comfort or elegance. As the flagship of the Hylas range, she combines proven sailing performance, robust construction and a spacious, highly functional cruising layout.

GRACE has benefited from an extensive refit that included a new Yanmar engine, replacement rigging, hull paint and new teak decks. More recent improvements include a new sail wardrobe, Isinglass enclosure, soft top, dodger, cockpit cushions and drinks fridge. Her air-conditioning system has been updated in the master stateroom and main salon, while recent mechanical work includes shaft removal and replacement of the shaft bearing, as well as the addition of a stern thruster.

Her customized teak interior accommodates eight guests in four cabins, each with its own private head and shower. Large pilothouse windows surround the spacious salon, creating an open, bright interior with abundant natural light and generous headroom.

Designed for extended cruising, GRACE carries 700 gallons of fuel and 390 gallons of fresh water in stainless-steel tanks. Her Lewmar hydraulic sail controls, hydraulic bow thruster and added stern thruster provide excellent maneuverability and make this substantial cruising yacht easier to manage both under sail and power.
