HELIOS is a 2004 80’ Lazzara Flybridge Motor Yacht that represents one of the most usable and volume-efficient American-built motor yacht platforms in this size range. HELIOS is built by Lazzara Yachts, one of the better-known American yacht builders in the 70-to 100-foot production and semi-custom motor yacht category. The Lazzara 80 platform was designed around volume, accommodations, and practical cruising use. The yacht’s fiberglass semi-displacement hull, direct-drive diesel propulsion, wide beam, and open flybridge arrangement make her a compelling option for buyers who want meaningful space without moving into a substantially larger yacht.
The construction profile includes high-performance UV-resistant exterior gelcoat, blister-resistant gelcoat below the waterline, vinylester skin coat, cement-reinforced keel, balsa-cored bulkheads and floors, balsa-cored reinforced stringer system, molded fiberglass decks, and a shoebox-style hull-to-deck joint.
