From Forward

The Hunter 41 DS is a two cabin, two head yacht with a well designed and thought out interior layour and ample headroom. She is ideal for long term cruising in style and extreme comfort.
The interior is fully airconditioned

The head is located in the forepeak. It is equipped with an electric marine toilet that has a teak, fold-up, grate to form a seat when showering. There is a storage cabinet in the forward bulkhead with shelves. There is a handheld hot and cold freshwater shower. There is a counter top both port and starboard. You will find two lights and an overhead, opening hatch
Moving after you will enter the Forward Stateroom. This stateroom features a large berth off set to port with a Vanity and sink to starboard. There is also a cedar lined hanging locker just aft of the vanity
The vanity has a cabinet above with sliding mirror doors and a shelf as well as a Corian counter top. Below the vanity are two cabinets with a shelf as well as a pull out drawer.

There are three spotlights, overhead light and a large opening deck hatch with built in sunshade and screen.
Moving aft from the Forward Cabin you will find the well appointed, and very comfortable main salon. The salon consists of a U-shaped settee to port and a straight settee to starboard - the typical "loveseat" has been removed, which makes for an additional amount of storage that most of the other 41Ds's do not have. Above the starboard settee is a storage cabinet against the forwards bulk head with a shelf running aft of it and outboard of the settee. To port you will find three storage cabinets above and outboard of the port settee, with a shelf above
The Nav Station is to starboard, aft of the settee and is forward facing with a seat and lift up table for storage. The AC/DC electrical panels are outboard as as the:

Samsung Galaxy S4 display mounted above the nav table and facing forward - this device displays all of the energy going into and out of the batteries via several apps that connect to the Victrton charge controllers, the shunt and the inverter. Further the tablet (or a phone) can mirror the MFD's display anywhere in the boat and the boat's autopilot can be controlled from the tablet or a phone, it can also be mirrored to either of the two TV's (Vizio Smart TVs new '23) on is 32" and the other 24"

Below the nav seat is a cabinet containing the battery switches. There is also a storage cabinet below the circuit breakers
The salon and galley share four large overhead opening deck hatches with sunshades and screens, Six large fixed windows (two on each cabin side and two facing forward. There are two opening ports in the cabin side of the galley. Adjustable air conditioning vents are built into the headliner to port and starboard about the fixed windows.
The galley is next aft and to port. The galley features an L-shaped layout with Corian counter tops. The three burner propane Princess stove/over is facing out boat and is equipp0ed with a removable butcherblock top. There is a double stainless steel sink with pressure hot and cold water sitting on an angle in the L shape. Facing forward is a long Corian work space with top access to the trash bin. There is side access to remove the bin.
There is a 12 volt stainless steel Nova Kool refrigerator & freezer located under the counter just aft of the stove. There is also another 12 volt Nova Kool freezer under the long workspace facing forward.
Outboard and above the stove is a built in GE microwave with with opening cabinets - two of which are clear, with wood trim. There is a built in dish rack that runs from the port side to the centerline above the long Corian work space - most of the other 41Ds's tdo not have this additional storage shelf. There is a cabinet below the sink and four pull out drawer under the workspace, facing forward. The is a floor to ceiling Pantry located in the bulkhead next to the companionway stairs with multiple shelves. Rounding our the galley are 4 decorative spice racks mounts outboard of the pantry. Additional storage in the form of a cabinet is located under the first companionway step
Across to starboard and aft of the nav station is the aft head. It features and electric marine toilet, with a four pocket canvas storage system. The sink and vanity is next to the toilet and features a mirrored medicine cabinet aove and storage below the sink. Next aft is the stall shower with Teak grate sole and teak grate seat. There are two lights and an overhead hatch
Next you will find the spacious Aft Cabin with ample headroom as you first enter. This cabin has private access to the aft head. It features a large berth set athwartships with the head of the bed located to the starboard side. There are two top opening storage bins between the berth and the aft bulkhead as well as storage at the foot of the bed. The head of rthe bead features a shelf with a top loading cabinet at one end. There is a night stand with an open cubbyhole. There is also a vanity with a mirror on centerline facing forward. A flat screen TV hangs on the bulkhead at the foot of the bed where you will also find a hanging locker with two shelves inside off to the side. Side access to the engine is also located here.
The interior of "Honu" is absolutely nothing short of stunning The cabin soles are in immaculate condition - every inch of the inside shows in beautiful condition. The bilges are spotless.
