The J/120 is a highly respected performance cruiser/racer, offering two private cabins, an easy-to-handle rig, and a strong track record on the racecourse and offshore. This example is nicely upgraded, with optional salon cabinetry, varnished teak in both cabins, a history of open-chequebook maintenance, and a standout result as overall ORR winner in the 2025 Marblehead to Halifax Race.
On deck, the J/120 is set up for short-handed sailing, with key sail controls led aft and a cockpit designed for both comfort and security. The balanced hull, flared topsides, and efficient rig deliver quick, controlled sailing in a wide range of conditions, while the asymmetrical spinnaker on a retractable sprit gives easily managed downwind performance that has helped make the J/120 a benchmark in this size range.
