Combining the comfort, carrying capacity and security of a displacement motor yacht with the economy and versatility of sail, the Cheoy Lee 52 has earned an enviable reputation amongst serious cruising owners worldwide.

KA HALE KAI is a particularly well-equipped and extensively upgraded example that has benefitted from knowledgeable ownership and continual investment. Her spacious wheelhouse, generous accommodation, substantial tankage and twin Ford Lehman diesel engines make her ideally suited to extended offshore cruising or comfortable liveaboard use.

Recent investment has focused on the systems that matter most for dependable cruising, including new standing rigging, rebuilt Hyde Streamstay furling systems, rebuilt hydraulic steering, rebuilt anchor windlass, Brunton H9 Autoprop propellers, renewed interior upholstery, upgraded charging systems and numerous mechanical improvements. Together with diesel heating, generator, solar charging and an extensive inventory of cruising equipment and spares, she offers an impressive level of self-sufficiency for extended periods afloat.

Rather than simply being cosmetically upgraded, KA HALE KAI has been continually developed as a practical long-distance cruising yacht. She represents an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire a proven blue water cruising yacht with genuine offshore pedigree.
