2018 Beneteau Oceanis 48 - Ke Aloha
Ke Aloha is a 2018 Beneteau Oceanis 48 currently located at Sun Harbor Marina in San Diego. She's a proven cruiser - big enough for a family or a couple who wants room to live aboard properly, simple enough to sail short-handed. At just under 48 feet on deck with a 15'7" beam and 34,100 lbs displacement, she has the volume to feel like a home and the proportions to move well offshore. On Deck
The twin-helm cockpit has teak benches and dual B&G instrument stations with wind, speed, and depth at both helms. The fold-down electric transom opens to a wide swim platform with stainless boarding ladder, making dinghy ops and water access straightforward. A bow thruster and electric windlass with anchor remote round out the deck hardware, along with four self-tailing winches.
Rig & Sails
Sloop rig with in-mast furling main and furling genoa. Standing rigging is discontinuous stainless steel with two aft-swept spreaders.
Electronics
Navigation is handled by a Simrad GPS chartplotter paired with B&G autopilot and instruments. AIS and VHF are both aboard, and a Fusion stereo with Bluetooth takes care of the rest.
Below
Three cabins and two heads with 6'6" headroom throughout and sleeping for eight. The forward owner's stateroom has an island berth, en-suite head, and glass-enclosed shower. Two aft guest cabins share a second head. The saloon is open and well-lit with a U-shaped dinette to starboard, nav station, and LED lighting throughout.
Galley
The galley runs to port with a gimbaled gas stove and oven, double stainless sinks, refrigerator, and separate freezer.
Mechanical
The 75hp Yanmar 4JH4-TE turbodiesel on sail drive. 106 gallons of fuel across two tanks, 174 gallons fresh water, 36 gallons holding. Bottom paint October 2024.
