Liberte is a Hunter 410 sailing vessel, built by Hunter Marine, in Alachua, FL. The Hunter sailing vessels are renowned for being comfort cruisers, with wide beams, tall headroom, and private multi-cabin layouts.
Liberte is offered for sale by very experienced sailors, who invested heavily in outfitting her for great adventures, including installing solar panels to increase capacity from 800 watts to 1920 watts. The rigging was also run back to the cockpit, so Liberte can be sailed single-handed.
The vessel was always kept in freshwater, sailing Lakes Michigan, Superior, and Huron. The owners were flying their America’s Great Loop burgee when they brought her de-masted from Chicago, through the river system to Mobile, AL, where her mast was stepped in December 2025, and she first tasted saltwater. After reaching Florida’s Atlantic Coast, their family commitments made it necessary to make the decision to put Liberte on the market. Liberte has been in dry storage since June 2026.
It is now time for a new owner to enjoy the freedom that Liberte provides, to go where she’ll take you!
