"Litha", a 1988 54' Irwin Center Cockpit is a true blue-water cruiser with the perfect floorplan for living aboard with its 4-stateroom layout and 3-heads. The large salon area offers an L-shaped seating area port and starboard, nav station to port, and a large galley area midship under the cockpit sole. Her layout affords one the opportunity to cruise in comfort to distant ports, Liveaboard dockside, or even Charter her, you’re only limited by your desires.

Litha is a 1988 Irwin 54' Center Cockpit sailboat that has been a safe, spacious, and beloved liveaboard for our family for the past several years. She’s more than just a boat. She’s carried us from San Diego to Salem, Massachusetts, covering over 8,000 nautical miles and visiting eight countries along the way.

She’s a true blue water cruiser with all the comforts of home. The 4-cabin, 3-head layout offers plenty of room for a family, guests, or even chartering. The master cabin has a queen-sized bed, and there’s a washer/dryer combo and a dishwasher onboard. Yes, really. She even has enough solar to power your InstantPot. You don’t have to sacrifice comfort to live this lifestyle. 

She has generous headroom throughout. If you’re tall and used to ducking on boats, you won’t have to here. The salon is large and open, and the enclosed cockpit and aft deck extend the living space even more. We’ve hosted up to 25 people between those spaces at anchor, and at nearly every stop, our boat was the gathering place. If you plan to cruise with friends or entertain often, Litha makes it easy.

She was designed to fit under bridges along the ICW, giving you more options for travel up and down the East Coast. She’s also a comfortable, capable offshore boat and has already proven herself across thousands of miles.

Included is a 2006 Achilles inflatable dinghy with a 2018 Yamaha 15hp 4-stroke outboard. You’ll be ready to go from day one.

This boat has been our home, our escape, and our dream come true. It’s time for her to write the next chapter with someone new.
