2008 Privilege 495 – “Macera”

A highly regarded blue-water cruising catamaran, Macera is a Privilege 495 designed by Marc Lombard and built by Alliaura Marine in France. Known for strength, comfort, and offshore capability, this vessel has benefited from major upgrades including fully rebuilt Yanmar engines (2021), lithium battery bank, new generator (2022), massive solar array, upgraded electronics, new windlass (2023), updated galley appliances (2025), and recent rigging (2022). With spacious 4-cabin layout, multiple AC units, powerful watermakers, robust safety gear, excellent sails, and a fully equipped tender package, she’s ready for extended liveaboard cruising or world voyaging.
