 The Catallina 42 MkII hull is a high volume design and features excellent water entry form and is driven from a spacious aft cockpit, which is gained via custom boarding platform through a walk-through transom,  Boat can easily be handled with minimal crew as lines are all lead aft into cockpit. T shaped cockpit with fold up table mounted off the pedestal.

Moving below immediately to port is the spacious L shaped galley featuring each of the necessary appliances, microwave, refrigeration, stove/oven, double sink, pantry and ample storage. Just off the galley moving aft the engine can be accessed. Just opposite galley is the aft cabin with double berth, ample storage and  ensuite head with jack and jill door to salon. 

Moving forward is the large u-shaped settee with builtin table (with leaf) to port plus settee to starboard with a chart table and seat just forward. Leaving the salon going forward is the master cabin which features a large double to port in a pullman style, Opposite are hanging lockers, storage drawers, and builtin seat. Just forward on centerline is the owner's head with stall shower. 

The Catalina 42's interior offers great ventilation along with excellent lighting. All seating area upholstered in custom vinyl.
