She is certainly one of the nicest huckins currently on the market today. She was bought by her current owners in 2020 and over the next 2 years she went through a complete restoration at lamb's yacht centre in Jacksonville FL along with her very knowledgeable owner there was no expense spared to make her one of the finest Huckins afloat. Among one of the many unique things about Miramar is the Master aft with a full size centerline queen bed.Starting at the bow the interior area provides accommodations for two guests with 2 single beds. Moving aft from the bow is a full size galley and built in dinette. This space is airy and open with efficient working space and plenty of storage. From the galley/dinette you walk up a few steps to the salon. Built in under cockpit cabinets for plenty of storage and large windows all around make for a comfortable lounging and entertaining.She is the popular 2 stateroom model with galley forward and dinette to starboard.

The galley is located forward of the saloon to the port side. It features a large counter space equipped with an 2 burner induction cooktop, microwave, and a full-size fridge with 9 cubic feet bottom freezer. To the port side is a large dinette table that comfortably seats four.
As part of the refit, the old Detroit Diesels were removed and the vessel was repowered with a pair of factory reconditioned, zero-hour Cummins 6CTA engines, new ZF transmissions, and M56 Huckins V-drives.A new set of 4 blade Nibra props were custom made.(Spare 3 blade set available also)
Prior to installation, the entire engine space was reinforced, repainted, and epoxy-coated to accommodate the new engines and a new Northern Lights 12kW generator. Additionally, a dual Racor filter system was installed for each engine along with an oil change system and Fire suppression system.
All old 32 volt components and wiring were removed and the whole boat was rewired with 24v wiring. A reconditioned electrical panel was installed along with new 110v wiring throughout. All lights are LED on dimmer switches. Power is with a single 5o amp power cord which can be plugged in on the starboard side.While under way the Generator will power all appliances and 5 a/c units.
She is equipped with a Magnum 2800 inverter/Charger (rd2824) for the house side.
Dedicated charger for bow thruster and windlass and additional charger for the engine and generator batteries.
During the extensive refit all the copper hoses and piping were removed and the entire boat was refitted with PEX plumbing. A larger 11 hot water tank was installed In tandem with new plumbing 3 new 24v vacuflush heads were installed along with all new sanitation hoses and a single 80 gallon holding tank.The tank can be emptied overboard by way of a tw24v pump or a deck fitting.
She is fitted with a total of 5 a/c units and 2 dehumidifiers were also installed in the owner's stateroom and saloon.
Frames are 1x3" sawn white oak on approximate 14" centers with double 1/2" plywood floor timbers and chime gussets glued and bolted to the frames. Engine and V drive beds are four vertically mounted 2" side bolted to the frames. There are four bulkheads (3 are watertight): Forepeak, ahead of Hold A, aft of Hold B, and ahead of engine compartment. The three aft bulkheads are fitted with limber hole valves. The hull planking is double 3/8" diagonal Philippine mahogany glued with resorcinal resin and fastened with copper clinch nails and bronze screws. The deck is 3/4" marine plywood over 1x2" deck beams. The superstructure is 3/4" marine plywood. The hull is sheathed in 20 oz. fiberglass cloth set in epoxy. The decks and superstructure tops are sheathed in 10 oz. fiberglass cloth set in epoxy. The interior bilge planking has been epoxy coated. The entire hull, and superstructure was stripped of all old paint and epoxy coated and painted in 2021 with Awlcraft 2000 paint Varnished handrails and covering board on the aft cockpit make her stand out in and looking like new.
The whole interior was striped of many years of old paint and repainted while keeping as much of the original hardware for doors and cabinetry as possible. All exterior window were replaced and frames made new or reconditioned to keep the original look.The portholes were removed and new plexiglass installed.
The bridge deck sides were extended to allow for new cabin doors port and starboard with new canvas in 2021.
