MoMo I is a 2022 complete refit of a 1977 Bertram 31. This boat is AWESOME. The refit included new Cummins mains, new paint, the addition of a generator and HVAC, new electronics, literally everything…a 3 year full stringers up restoration. The wooden bulkheads and stringers were replaced with Divinycell cored fiberglass structural members. The popularity of the Bertram 31 is unquestioned, but most models out there are dated by modern standards. Not MoMo I. She is a modern and proven sportfisherman. Why buy a more expensive center console when you can have diesel reliability, air conditioning, a galley and creature comforts? Come see her in beautiful and convenient Charleston, SC.

Nothing in powerboating history has equaled the worldwide popularity of the original deep-V, the Bertram 31. Offered in several model configurations, over two thousand 31s were produced during her two decades of production, many of which were Flybridge Cruisers. Key to the lasting popularity of these boats on the used market is her unsurpassed—almost legendary— rough-water seakeeping ability and her rugged construction. The spacious cockpit of the Bertram 31 is free of obstructions, and the cushioned engine boxes make a great place to sit and watch the baits. While the cabin is hardly plush, the accommodations are comfortable and efficiently arranged with a convertible dinette to port, galley and dinette opposite, and a V-Berth forward. Twin 330hp MerCruiser gas engines (22–24 knots cruise) powered the majority of the Bertram 31s with several GM, Cat, or Cummins diesels offered as options.
Few, if any, other boats have had such a profound influence on the design of power boats as has the Bertram 31. The first boat design to use a Deep-V hull, it is arguably the most famous modern boat design ever built, the 31 Bertram has achieved a near cult status, infecting boaters around the world. Designed by Ray Hunt and built by Richard Bertram, the 31 was in production for 25 years. Many are still on the water and in use throughout the world.
