Moon Dancer II Boat | 47' Catalina 2003

This Catalina 470, Moon Dancer II, is in excellent condition. The boat is clean, well upgraded and maintained. The owners live on the boat half the year sailing locally in WA/Canada. The boat is maintained by professional marine tradespeople year-round.

 

The 2003 Catalina 470 features a two-stateroom interior layout that optimizes privacy and guest versatility for extended ocean cruising. The palatial master stateroom is located aft, highlighting a true walk-around queen-sized island berth flanked by extensive storage lockers, cedar-lined hanging lockers, and direct access to an en-suite head. Forward, the private guest cabin houses a large double Pullman-style berth supplemented by a folding pipe berth above, expanding guest accommodations while keeping the main salon clear. Both heads have private shower stalls and fresh water heads. 

 

On the water, the design delivers a stable motion that keeps the crew comfortable during coastal or offshore passages. The hull tracks well on all points of sail and handles choppy water smoothly. Topside, the wide side decks and secure handrails make moving around the boat straightforward, while the deep cockpit provides good shelter from the elements. This reliable handling combines with the spacious living areas below to create a balanced, reassuring platform for long-term or short-term cruising.
