TOPSIDES
The Carver 406 Aft Cabin Motoryacht features a spacious aft deck sheltered by a hardtop and wing doors. Bridge and aft deck are enclosed with a fresh set of canvas, making this a nearly-all-weather extension of your living and lounging area.
Outstanding flybridge access consists of molded fiberglass stairs -- port and starboard. The bridge is smartly arranged with a walk-around console, allowing helm access from either side. A broad bench seat is set just forward of the console and the helm has all controls and electronics within easy reach and the helmsman's line of sight. Storage is built into the seat bases. You will enjoy plenty of legroom at the helm and bench seats.
Going forward, foredeck access is easy along the wide, uncluttered sidedecks, with high stainless steel safety rails to guide you. Aft, swim platform access is via a molded staircase and the wide swim platform includes a large dunnage box, plus easy access for shore power and water connections.
DOWN BELOW
Enter the cabin through a double door, down just a few steps to a bright, soft and spacious salon. Surrounded by large windows, accented in cherry cabinetry and light carpet and upholstery, this salon is a calm and comfortable refuge. To port, the large L-shaped settee includes two incliners and is upholstered in soft ultraleather.
The large salon windows feature full privacy blinds and coordinated valances and the broad forward windshield creates a cathedral effect above the galley and dinette level, but includes a complete cover for privacy.
Step down from the salon to the galley and dinette level, with a large c-shaped dinette (convertible for overnighting) to port and the well-equipped galley to starboard. With an abundance of cabinetry, full-size fridge & freezer and plenty of Corian countertop area, the galley is fully capable of serving your crowd. Just forward of the dinette, the day head includes a vanity, toilet & convenience shower.
The guest stateroom is fully forward, plushly appointed and featuring a comfortable double berth, cedar-lined hanging locker and nightstand, plus vent hatch overhead.
Aft of the salon, is the master stateroom, with a pedestal queen berth and plenty of floorspace. The ensuite head, with stall shower, vanity & toilet provides total owner convenience and privacy. There's ample storage all around including a large cedar-lined hanging locker
