Naos Boat | 49' Hunter 2009

Load your gear and take off on your next adventure on this well maintained and cared for Hunter 50. This boat has been lovingly cared for by an experienced mariner who enjoyed both traveling the open ocean to the Bahamas and spending the winters cruising the islands and going out racing in local regattas with the local yacht club here in Southport. 'Naos' is known for her gentle quickness and range of capabilities. From bow to stern, it is inherently obvious this boat has been upgraded and maintained by a very experienced sailor with a fine attention to detail. 'Noas' is for sale and ready for cruising needing nothing with a proven cruising pedigree and background.

Hull ConstructionThis Hunter 50 CC features a Glen Henderson hull design with specific reinforcement, including Kevlar in the bow and forward keel area for collision protection. The vessel is constructed with a solid fiberglass hull below the waterline and cored with end-grain balsa above the waterline. Key building materials and construction features include:- Hull: Hand-laid fiberglass, reinforced with Kevlar from the stem to the keel.
- Deck: Fiberglass with balsa coring, featuring a through-bolted hull-to-deck joint every 8 inches.
- Structure: A structural interior grid system is used to attach components to the hull.
- Rigging: B&R (Bergstrom & Ridder) rig with swept-back spreaders (no backstay) and aluminum spars.
- Exterior: Stainless steel arch and traveler, stainless steel stanchions (27 in) with triple lifelines.
- Interior: Corian countertops, cherry wood finish, and white oyster leather upholstery.
