On deck, the bow has an upgraded composite bowsprit with integrated anchor and forestay fitting with double mooring roll incl. 2nd forestay and gennaker eye. The Hanse self tacking system & mainsheet system enable ease of handling and singlehanded sailing. There are 8 large and 6 small deck hatches - all openable. 4 large coach roof side windows - openable, 4 portlights in coach roof. The anchor locker hatch protects the windlass from exposure to UV and the harsh marine environment. Another upgrade is the electric washdown pump located in the anchor locker. The anchor has Never been used or touched salt water as the owner has always stayed in a marina or their slip on Hilton Head Island. This is also the reason the generator has only 22 hours.
