Jefferson enjoyed an enviable reputation some years ago for delivering a lot of boat for the money—something many manufacturers claim but few actually deliver. With the 50 Rivanna, Jefferson has managed to deliver the comforts and features buyers look for in a midsize motor yacht at a surprisingly competitive price. Built on a modified-V hull with a shallow keel and solid fiberglass bottom, the standard two-stateroom, galley-down layout includes a spacious salon, a large master stateroom, and a surprisingly roomy bow stateroom with a double bed. The lacquered, grain-matched teak joinery found throughout the Rivanna’s interior is certainly one of her more attractive features. A notable highlight of the 50 Rivanna is her spacious afterdeck with its standard wet bar, hardtop and wing doors. Molded steps lead down to the swim platform—a feature that makes boarding from a low dock both easy and safe— and wide side decks will be appreciated by those going forward. The 50 Rivanna will cruise at close to 18 knots (20+ knots top) with Cummins 480hp diesels.

The vessel is outfitted with two sizable staterooms each having its own head with shower forward, and shower and tub aft. Forward is the guest stateroom having a large double berth, large hanging locker, its own TV and ample storage in draws and below the berth. There is a roomy private head with separate shower stall and vanity on the starboard side.

Aft on the starboard side is the settee with seating for six with a highly vanished teak table having additional storage below both seats. On the port side is the well-equipped galley having a full size two door refrigerator, microwave oven, three burner AC stove with oven below, and a dish washer. There is also a toaster oven and coffee maker on the counter. 

Up a short companion way is the full beam salon having plush furnishing. A large Sharp curved TV is on the port side cabinet and a penned in area is on the starboard side in front of the electrical panel. Aft is the master stateroom with a king size berth large head with tub and plenty of storage. The aft deck has a U-Line ice maker / refrigerator and a wet bar. This is a very well maintained and cared for vessel. All the interior teak bright work is pristine.
