A unique opportunity to own a beautiful and competitive racing yacht that has just completed a full refit. OUTLANDER (formerly SIREN) was designed by Reichel/Pugh and built by McConaghy Boats in Australia in 2002/03. A proven inshore and offshore winning design with many podium finishes in the USA and overseas, including the Newport to Bermuda Race, Annapolis to Newport Race, the Transatlantic Race to England, and the historic Fastnet Race.

A very well balanced and fast yacht that sails easily to her ORC and PHRF rating. When not racing, she has a removeable cruising interior that can be quickly installed or removed.

There is an extensive sail inventory, including a brand new Doyle carbon mainsail and a new North A1.5. All other racing sails are lightly used with plenty of remaining life.

OUTLANDER has been professionally maintained and constantly upgraded since new, with major upgrades in 2010/2011 and 2016, and has just completed an extensive two-year refit. OUTLANDER was purchased by the current owner in 2020, who has spent the past 3 years completely overhauling the boat and all its systems, with a goal to create an exhilarating high-performance racing yacht that will win races without sacrificing every creature comfort.

2010 to 2016 Upgrades:

• Water ballast system removed and more weight added to the keel with an optimized bulb
• New carbon fiber rudder
• Longer bowsprit
• Standing rigging replaced with Carbon ECsix by Future Fibers - 2016
• New Hall Spars carbon boom
• New engine installed in 2016 (less than 200 hours)
• Aft beam extended 

Upgrades by Current Owner (2021-2023):

• Topsides painted in Awlgrip Shark Grey w/ 4 coats of clear coat
• New Doyle Carbon Mainsail and North A1.5
• Doyle J2, A4, and Code Zero - 2021/22
• Mast and boom overhauled by Newport Rigging with new custom fittings
• Mast and boom re-painted
• New carbon headfoil
• Carbon bowsprit lengthened to 10ft
• New racing bottom
• Keel removed for testing (keel was good)
• Hydraulics rebuilt
• All hatches and fittings rebedded
• New lifelines installed and all stanchions rebedded
• New 3-blade Gori propeller w/ overdrive 
• New Lithium Ion batteries
• 2 electric heads and 2 holding tanks installed with deck pumpout and carbon privacy doors
• New electric winches installed and pedestals removed
• All rope jammers upgraded
• All winches serviced or replaced
• Running rigging upgraded by Gorilla Rigging
• Rudder bearings replaced
• New steering cables and blocks installed
• Sailor Sat Phone installed

Since purchasing the boat in 2020, the owner has invested $300,000 in upgrades, servicing, and new sails.
