The German Frers Swan 65 prototype Paradise is an aluminium prototype of the Swan 651, built in 1982 under ABS and RINA certificates. Rigged as a cutter, she is fast, seaworthy, comfortable and eminently suitable to continue her role commercially or as a private yacht for the more adventurous. Built for an Italian owner who sailed her on the Adriatic Sea, she was purchased in 2008 by her current owners. She has been outfitted to explore remote areas of the high latitudes and has mainly been sailed in the Southern Ocean since, as an expedition/charter yacht. Huge potential as she is or refitted to your own requirements, she could accommodate a large family for long distance cruising or utilise her current charter layout sleeping up to 10 persons with three heads compartments, substantial forepeak stowage, large saloon and a fully equipped, ergonomic galley. On deck the Frers Swan 65 prototype Paradise has a centre cockpit style layout with a large dedicated central helm position expansive fore and aft decks, rigid pilot cuddy over the main companionway with good sized glazing panels providing substantial protection from the elements yet affording good all-round views. The Frers Swan 65 prototype Paradise is currently based in the Falkland Islands and available for inspection by appointment.
