28 Boston Whaler 2001 Boat for Sale

Piscatorial Passion Boat | 28' Boston Whaler 2001

A proven Boston Whaler offshore platform with approximately $18,000 in documented recent mechanical repairs and upgrades, now priced to reflect a non-running starboard engine.

This 2001 Boston Whaler 28 Conquest combines a serious fishing cockpit, protected helm and comfortable overnight accommodations in one of Boston Whaler's most versatile offshore designs.

The boat was repowered with twin 2018 Mercury 250 OptiMax outboards, currently showing approximately 1,390 hours.

The owner has invested approximately $18,000 in documented recent mechanical work, including:

• Replacement trim motors on both outboards
• Replacement alternators on both outboards
• New cylinder head
• New starter
• Additional recent engine service and repairs

The port engine is operational.

The starboard engine is currently non-running. Recent work has been performed in an effort to address the issue, but the engine remains non-running and the owner has elected not to invest further in diagnosis or repair.

For that reason, the boat is being offered as-is at $42,900, giving the next owner the opportunity to diagnose and repair the existing engine or consider future repower options.

The value here goes beyond the current engine issue.

The Boston Whaler 28 Conquest is a highly capable offshore fishing and cruising platform with Boston Whaler's renowned foam-filled Unibond construction, a substantial 10'4" beam, large cockpit and comfortable cabin accommodations.

It offers the versatility to fish Puget Sound and offshore waters, cruise with family and spend weekends aboard.
