She is Brand new, recently launched and currently in Cape Town, South Africa - completing her commissioning. The mattresses still wear their factory plastic — she has never been cruised and never lived aboard. She is, in every meaningful way, untouched.

Balance Catamarans have earned a reputation for combining striking design with serious offshore capability. Construction is equally impressive. Balance uses its proprietary “Carbon Cross” structural concept, blending E-glass fiberglass with substantial carbon fiber reinforcement in all major load-bearing areas of the hulls and decks. Every Balance 482 is hand-laminated and vacuum-bagged using a vinylester outer skin over closed-cell foam cores. This advanced process produces a structure that is light, stiff, and exceptionally strong—purpose-built for long-range cruising and true blue-water sailing.
