With a clear focus on the cruising concept, a widely recognized designer, and reliable quality of construction, Elan has made good impressions with the 434. This boat has many recent upgrades as she has just crossed the Atlantic. Saga is a very well maintained boat that shows extremely well. There is a 2023 Survey available upon request.

Highlights

● Three owners from new, including the current. Documents on board showing that Croatian VAT was paid when the boat was commissioned.

● Engine Volvo Penta D2-55C serviced annually. Precise hours unknown (tachometer changed in 2023 after hour reading stopped working) but based on annual service records estimated at 2500-3000. Never chartered.

● Standing rigging replaced 2020. Rigging inspection done in 2023 pre-Atlantic crossing and backstays changed.

● New (2023) lithium house batteries (400ah) and Victron controllers, professionally installed ● 625W of solar panels (most new in 2023) on dedicated solar arch.

● New (2023) Raymarine chartplotter (Axiom 9), AIS (receive and transmit) and digital radar (Quantum Doppler), professionally installed and under warranty. Electronic charts for the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

● New safety gear in 2023 (EPIRB, liferaft, jacklines, flares)

● New Hydrovane self-steering added in 2023 in addition to the Raymarine autopilot ● Starlink internet added in 2024 (dish can be transferred to new owner upon request) Accommodation

● Owner's version - 3 cabins, 2 heads. Forward owner's cabin customised with extra storage and space. Additional double berth in Saloon (Port side) meaning sleeping room for 8 or 9 in total. ● 2 shower rooms with washbasin, shower, and marine toilet. Electric Bilges in heads. Larger head has dedicated shower/wetroom.
